Reminder: to conjugate most verbs in the future tense, we add the appropriate ending (-ò, -ai, -à, -emo, -ete, -anno) to the root of the verb.

Some irregular verbs, like andare (to go), potere (can, to be able to) and dovere (must, to have to), drop the a or the e in the -are or -ere ending of the infinitive along with the -e at the end. So, we are left with the first three letters of the verb + the remaining r from the ending of the infinitive + the appropriate future tense ending.
