I started Gymglish in order to progress but above all to regain confidence in my level in English. I am currently studying medicine, and at the end of the 6th year we have to pass a competitive exam (the ECN) which determines our choice of specialty as well as our future place of training (the region in which we will practice later). For the exam, there is a test involving a scientific article which accounts for 10% of the final grade (it's huge for 1 subject on its own!!). This is a discriminating test among students, and this test is in English! So I turned to Gymglish to improve my reading comprehension. And I managed! Although I would have liked there to be more medical and scientific vocabulary, having an English exercise to complete daily has helped me a lot to build my self-confidence and to improve my reading in English. I still took the liberty of writing this story in French *laugh* Thanks to the whole team!! The lessons are funny and playful, it's nice to feel that you're making progress through your stories! (FR) J'ai commencé Gymglish dans le but de progresser mais surtout de prendre confiance en mon niveau en anglais. Actuellement étudiant en médecine, en fin de 6e année nous sommes soumis à un concours (les ECN) qui détermine notre choix de spécialité ainsi que notre futur lieu de formation (la région où l'on exercera plus tard). Dans le concours, il y a une épreuve de lecture d'article scientifique qui compte pour 10% de la note finale (c'est énorme pour 1 matière à elle toute seule !!). Il s'agit d'une épreuve discriminante parmi les étudiants, et cette épreuve est en anglais ! Je me suis donc dirigé vers Gymglish pour devenir à l'aise avec la compréhension écrite. Et c'est un objectif accompli ! Même si j'aurai souhaité qu'il y est plus de vocabulaire médicale et scientifique, avoir un exercice d'anglais à pratiquer quotidiennement m'a beaucoup aidé à prendre confiance en moi et à fluidifier ma lecture en anglais. Je me suis tout de même permis d'écrire cette histoire en français *rire* Merci à toute l'équipe ! Les leçons sont drôles et ludiques, c'est agréable de se sentir progresser à travers vos histoires !
