I signed up for a Gymglish course through my Le Monde subscription. I thought I could improve my Spanish before moving there again at the end of 2022. I now work on projects in Doha. I lived in Barcelona in the early 2000s but I found it difficult to learn Castellano there because of the influence of Catalan, especially as I am a French native speaker. Now with Gymglish I can see I am making very good progress, especially in written and oral comprehension, and with the use of verbs and their tenses: preterito indefinido, subjunctivo, imperative negative and affirmative were always very difficult for me. It will definitely give me more confidence when I travel to Spain, especially as we will be living in Andalusia, not Catalonia. The only thing I need to do now is to practice my speaking skills!
