I learned some basics of French quite a long time ago and while reading and watching movies in French helped my passive vocabulary, I wasn't overconfident about speaking, when I visited France in the past it always took me some time to 'get going'. I was however, pleasantly surprised when, on my recent trip to Nice, I was able to speak without any problems. I'd been taking Frantastique lessons for some 8 months at the time and I have no doubts it was thanks to them. I already purchased 2 more years of the lessons as they're fun, too, and Victor Hugo will now be for me forever connected with this deep, slowly articulating voice Frantastique assigned him with. And nude. :-)
