Juergen L. verhaal

I am a retired professional living in the province of Quebec. During my professional career, I hardly needed to speak French at all, as the international steamship industry is a 100% English-speaking environment). Now it's time for me to catch up and improve my French. My biggest problem is comprehension because sometimes, the language is spoken too fast. In Quebec, some of these expressions I learned are very different, some aren't even used at all. My wife, who is French Canadian, told me this. Communication is my main focus, and being able to write without any spelling mistakes comes just after. I will go over the lessons once more in detail and when I am to continue, I will let you know.
