My name is Ingrid Hemmingsson, and I'm 82 years old. I live alone with my cat in a cottage in a small village. I have a good life with my friends. I have two daughters, one that lives abroad and one in Stockholm. When i was young, I became a teacher and then I later continued my studies and obtained a degree in political science at University. Later I was elected to the Swedish parlament, where I worked for 12 years. My English never got really good since I never had enough regular, continuous practice. This has always been a problem in my life! Now I feel a need for training, and for using my brain, therefore I chose the biggest challenge for me, English. I haven't been using it for the last 20 years regulary. I read books, which I understand, but I never write. I find it difficult to understand when people speak very fast. My goal is to enjoy what I am doing, train my brain and to be able to write simple letters to my Japanese freinds. Even small steps feel like a sucess, and I like Gymglish
