Know your “shuts”

A shut-in: A person who never goes outside. With the Internet, why bother?

Shut up!: A firm request to close your mouth. Ideal for addressing neighbors having more sex than you.

Shut-eye: Sleep. Ex: “Shut up, neighbors, I need some shut-eye!”
Traduction A shut-in (un reclus) : Une personne qui ne sort jamais. Avec Internet, pourquoi s'embêter ?

Shut up! (La ferme !) : Forte incitation à se taire. Idéal pour s’adresser à des voisins qui ont des rapports sexuels plus fréquents que vous.

Shut-eye : Dormir, fermer l’œil. Ex : « (à ses voisins) La ferme, je veux dormir ! ».
