Voici le témoignage de Anna-Maria C.
I started off with Frantastique FLE a few years ago and really liked the product. It took me a while to decide to buy a subscription since it’s not inexpensive. I didn’t regret it - the format, the quality of content, and the overall user experience amounted to a great value. After I renewed my two-year subscription for another two-year term, I started noticing that the content, while extremely useful, was not challenging enough for me. This was probably the reason for the slackening of pace - I was not always completing my five weekly lessons. At that point, I got sent some emails that introduced me to Frantastique Ortho, which is designed for French speakers. Had the promotional emails not arrived, I would not have necessarily looked for them myself. I have to say that Gymglish is one of the few companies whose marketing emails I don’t mind reading when they show up in the mailbox. Anyway, I got a free trial of Frantastique Ortho and enjoyed so much that I actually considered switching from my existing application, but my term wasn’t over, so I decided to wait till then. The other day I got another email from the company, asking me if everything was OK. Again, the email was written in such a way that I actually decided to write back, mentioning that I was thinking of switching to the more challenging program at a later date. The customer service representative got back to me very soon, saying that I can switch immediately. That was great. The time spent writing that feedback was well worth it! That’s why I’m writing this review now. In conclusion, I’m now on Frantastique Ortho and it is much more challenging. I’d rather get 60% on my lessons and learn important new stuff than ace the lesson and do no more than a review. Reviewing and revising are super important, but there is a point at which you have to move forward. Not to mention that reviewing and consolidating knowledge is part of the Frantastique method anyway. Lastly, I want to mention that I really enjoy the popular culture content portion of the lesson. Not only is it relevant and fun, but I would have never found it on my own and wouldn’t have looked for it either. This feature really opens up my horizons in terms of contemporary French culture and the overall cultural context that feeds it, which makes it much easier to learn the language. Thank you, Frantastique!
