To get  a beaucoup d'autres sens, parmi lesquels "recevoir," "aller quelque part," "devenir," "comprendre," etc.
Notons que ce verbe est irrégulier :
I get / I got / I have got or gotten

- "I know you don't check your email very regularly, as you believe they are "devil machines", but I'm really hoping you get this message as soon as possible."
 - "Listen, I just got your message and I'd like to set up a time to discuss those loans."
