In fact, I'm an old man - 85 years old. As I am a fan of Agatha Christie, and, by the way of all the authors of what they call the" Golden Age" of detective novels, I am rather well acquainted with "written English" but, if I can write and speak in English, though with a loud French accent, I don't understand spoken English, specially when spoken by anglo-american people... Now I need it as, for more than 12 years, I have had a friend that I visit in Florida and I need to follow a conversation... So I must try to improve my understanding...
