French and I haven’t been good friends since high school. Although I loved to hear the language, the deception at learning it has been enormous for a long time. In Fall 2018 I stumbled upon this online course. I decided to give it a go, and it turned out to be fun. Today I completed my 50th lesson. I have improved my level substantially, although there remains a lot to learn, conversation for instance. I have a copy of Flaubert’s Madame Bovary waiting for me once I am able to read the introduction without a dictionary �
