Numbers 100 to 1000
100 = (ein)hundert
200 = zweihundert
300 = dreihundert
400 = vierhundert
500 = fünfhundert
600 = sechshundert
700 = siebenhundert
800 = achthundert
900 = neunhundert
1000 = (ein)tausend
When forming numbers above one hundred, single-digit numbers (eins, zwei, drei, etc.) and double-digit numbers (zehn, zwanzig, dreißig, etc.) come after the multiple of hundred. They can be connected to it using und, but this is optional.
201 = zweihunderteins (auch: zweihundertundeins)

556 = fünfhundertsechsundfünfzig (auch: fünfhundertundsechsundfünfzig)
556 = fünfhundertsechsundfünfzig or fünfhundertundsechsundfünfzig
Note: the numbers 100 and 1000 can be spoken as hundert/einhundert (a hundred/one hundred) and tausend/eintausend (a thousand/one thousand).
