Here is Sonia D's success story.
My German was very, very "rusty" after all these years without practicing it. Such a pity since I used to speak the language very well, having lived in Germany as a child. To tell you the truth, after spending a few days in Germany, I was surprised to see just how little I could remember of the language. It was coming back gradually but very slowly. So I decided to dust off my knowledge! I like Wunderbla because I can study whenever I want, and there is no pressure. The texts are often funny and I like the excerpts of German culture at the end. Funny how your memory works: just listening to some old emblematic German songs brought back vivid memories of my childhood there. Of course, most (young) German people speak good English now, so why bother? Because, to me, language is the only way to understand the culture and dive into its very "essence". I intend to visit the Black Forest in October. I cannot wait to see how my German has improved!
