Here is Caroline T's success story.
I love Italy! No ancestors from there except pre-Roman times. No childhood exposure to that language although I learned French and Latin. We have made a trip there nearly every year since 1990. People are kind, friendly, scenery spectacular. I picked up the language mainly from tapes and self learning books. Every trip we buy a daily paper such as la Repubblica. But I felt my grasp of grammar was weak, present tense and no indirect pronouns! So, now I've retired I have turned to Gymglish Saga Baldoria. It's helping. I hope to be able to have a less stilted conversation with my neighbors this summer!
