Here is Gabriele B's success story.
I started learning Spanish as a student decades ago, and at that time I got to a pretty good level. Since I've been working, however, I've unfortunately limited myself to holidays in Spanish countries, so that after 2 weeks I speak it quite well again, but then nothing at all for another year and everything becomes passive again. This has been a very unsatisfactory situation for years. In addition, my vocabulary is partly outdated ...... I knew what "record player" meant in Spanish, but not expressions like "charging cable", which didn't exist back then. Going to a course in the evening after sitting in the office all day was somehow not an option either, I'd rather do sport. Hotel Borbollon allows me to really engage with the language a little EVERY day so that it stays active in my head. There are new, up-to-date vocabulary words, such as "charging cable" ;-) a grammar section for practising and very good AI to talk for a few minutes, very important. It's all very condensed so that it's not time-consuming. It's more relaxing as a little break in the working day. We hope to be able to move to Spain in a few years when we retire. My goal is therefore to reach Spanish level B2 in 2 years; they say this is the highest level you can reach if you don't live in the country. Hotel Borbollón will help me achieve this goal. It also motivates me to look at my Spanish books again and to watch Spanish programmes. A really very good concept, also with the 3 lessons, then 2 repetitions and then 2 days off to memorise the new vocabulary - which I write on index cards to practise. The price-performance level is also reasonable. It's a shame that it's not available for Greek, otherwise I'd use it to learn something too. :-)
