Here is Margit P's success story.
I wanted to go to a language course in Chester over two years ago but then came the Corona crisis. That's when I tried Gymglish. It has been really fun! I feel I have learned a lot and I am now able to speak with our relatives from Texas, Houston. They visited our place this summer and I was able to chat with them! Often I get up very early to open my Gymglish e-mail. Sometimes I go back to sleep again. My brain is at its best in the morning. It was the same when I went to school and at university. I am retired and I can truly see the difference between now and then. Especially new words I have trouble remembering. I was born in Finland and moved to Sweden when I was thirty years old. My Swedish is quite good, it was my first language in school. My husband is from Germany and has been living in Sweden since he was eight. So he has two mother tongues. I studied Swedish for almost eight years and German for almost seven years at school. Our English course was the shortest one because I chose mathematics in high school, so I only studied English for three years. Nowadays, young people listen to music, watch television and movies and so on - they are learning English all the time. I learned mostly grammar. Anyway, I am still planning on going to Chester next spring. I want to learn more about pronunciation. I wanted to send this story without a picture and it was not possible. I did not manage to send the picture I wanted so in fact, I'm not sure what you will get. I'm currently in Finland in our summerhouse and my son is in Sweden. So he cannot help with my computer.
