Here is Helke N's success story.
I learned English at school a long time ago and I learned it in the "old-school way" - doing dictation exercises and translating. I was always very good at that because I have no problem understanding the meaning of the texts even if I don't understand every single word. My problem is that I do not find the right word when I want to talk to people or to write "my own story", for example. I am very proud that I have been making progress with the grammar and also with the vocabulary but I think I have to train my "speaking ability", which doesn't work with Gymglish. Nonetheless I like doing my daily lessons and I'm glad whenever I find one of the newly-learned words in one of the crime stories I love to read. At the moment I'm reading "Unseen" by Karin Slaughter.
