- Tú (singular) and vosotros/vosotras (plural) are used to talk to people in informal contexts, while usted (singular) and ustedes (plural) are used in formal contexts.
Tú tienes 10 años.
You are 10 years old.
Vosotras sois las hermanas de Lucía.
You are Lucía's sisters.
¿Quién es usted, señora?
Who are you, ma'am?
¿Ustedes son los abuelos de Carolina?
Are you Carolina's grandparents?
- We generally don't include a pronoun (tú, etc.) before a verb, because the conjugation already makes the subject clear.
(Yo) Soy Magda, (Nosotros) Somos amigos.
I am Magda, We are friends.
