How to pronounce the letters C, Z and S
C
In Spain, the letter c has two sounds:
- In front of the vowels a, o and u, it sounds like ca , co and cu .

- In front of the vowels i and e, it sounds like ci as in the word decir (say) and ce as in the word crecer (grow)

- Before any vowel, it is pronounced the same as a c before i and e.

In front of any vowel, the s sounds like sí (yes) , pasar (pass) and más (more)
In Latin America, the c and the z are pronounced as an s.
