"I rest my case" is a formal expression used when a lawyer finishes his or her argument. It can also be used in everyday situations, however.
- "Oh, and for the record, that little girl, that sweet, darling, beautiful, pony-loving girl, well, spoiler alert, she was me. I rest my case!"
