Prepositions of place: à, chez and en
You're going to the bakery.
We are at the movies.
We use chez (at, to) before the name of a person or a profession, or a stressed pronoun like moi (me) or toi (you)PRONOMS TONIQUES.
I am at Anna's place.
Théo is going to the hairdresser.
We are at my place.
When referring to countries, we use au (to, in) before a masculine country name beginning with a consonant, and aux (to the, in the) before a plural country name.
You're going to Morocco.
Manon lives in the United States.
In other cases, we generally use en (in, to).
We live in Afghanistan.
Nadia is going to Switzerland.
