The verb jouer in the conditional present
Verbs with roots ending in a vowel, such as étudier (to study) (root: étudi-), are conjugated in the present conditional like regular verbs ending in -ER. But be careful not to pronounce the e that precedes the ending. The same goes for: jouer (to play) (root: jou-), créer (to create), continuer (to continue), etc.
