The verb asseoir in the imperative

The imperative form of the verb s'asseoir is used to invite or ask someone to sit down. The imperative is the present tense without a subject. The verb asseoir (to sit) or s'asseoir (to sit down) can be conjugated in two different ways in the imperative mode:
