The pronoun en

En is used:

• to replace a noun that follows du, de la, de l', des or a quantity ( such as un, deux, un peu de, beaucoup de, etc.)

- Vous voulez du café ? - Oui, j’en veux. -Would you like some coffee? -Yes, I would like some.
- Vous avez des enfants ? - Oui, nous en avons deux. -Do you have any children? -Yes, we have two (of them).

• with verbs followed by the preposition de: venir de (to come from), sortir de (to take out from), se souvenir de (to remember), parler de (to speak about), rêver de (to dream about), etc.

Tu penses quoi de ce film ? → Tu en penses quoi ? What do you think of this film? → What do you think of it?
- Vous venez du marché ? - Oui, j’en viens (= je viens du marché.) -Have you come from the market? -Yes, I've come from there.
- Tu te souviens de cette histoire ? - Ah non, je ne m’en souviens pas (= je ne me souviens pas de cette histoire.)  -Do you remember this story? -No, I don't remember it.

The pronoun en is situated just before the verb.
- Tu manges souvent de la moutarde ? - Oui, j’en mange tous les jours. -Do you eat mustard often? --Yes, I eat it every day.
Here are some common expressions that use en:
Je m’en vais. I'm leaving.
J’en ai marre. I've had enough.
Je n’en peux plus. I can't take it anymore.
Ne t’en fais pas. Don't worry.
